PROJECTS APPROVED BY LAWS AND FOR CULTURE INCENTIVES

READING TREASURES PROJECT

Selected by the Minas Gerais Secretary of State for Culture and encompassed by the State Law for Culture Incentive, the Reading Treasures Project was realized in 2016 and resulted in expanding the collections of Vicintin Foundation-supported libraries. To that effect, new literary chests, filled with various works for young readers, were donated in Belo Horizonte and in 12 other municipalities in Minas Gerais: Augusto de Lima, Alvinopolis, Bocaiuva, Botumirim, Buritizeiro, Capitao Enéas, Cristalia, Comunidade Chupe, Engenheiro Navarro, Olhos D`Água, Riacho dos Machados e Varzea da Palma.

AWAKEN PROJECT
AND CERAMICS CLASSES

After approval by the Federal Law for Culture Incentive (Rouanet Law), the Awaken Project and Ceramics Classes were able to improve and intensify their activities, from 2016 on, thanks to the motivation of partners who believe in the creative potential of our youth and in the benefits that the initiative brings to their lives.

CULTURE TOUR BOOK & SCENE

This project will be initiated in the second half of 2017 and envisages the realization of two culture tours in 14 municipalities in Minas Gerais, in which 58 public and philanthropic schools located in areas with a limited supply of space, equipment and cultural assets accessible to the public will participate. Each institution will be the beneficiary of 50 works of literature, as well as two theatrical performances produced by regional artists of the Lunatic Company (Cia Lunatica). The Culture Tour Book & Scene is the second Vicintin Foundation project to be approved by the Federal Law for Culture Incentive (Rouanet Law).
